Question by starvedcannibal: I have a mild deviation in my vision, where my dominant eye can focus straight ahead, and the other turns in.?
It appears when I’m trying to focus in on something closely–when I cover my dominant eye, my right eye, the left appears to be looking at something accross my nose.

Equally weird is when I force my left eye to be dominant, my right eye seems to have the same affliction, looking at something towards my left.

Are there any non-invasive methods for correcting this in an adult in their mid-twenties? I wear prescription glasses with mild prisms, but fear I’ll have this problem after having lasik this year.

Thanks in advance!!

My uncle has something like that and calls it a lazy eye. What you really have to do is wear an eye patch to strengthen the muscles around your eyes. You’ll look like a pirate for a couple of months, but you’re eyes should get better. Play it up with a parrot and have fun.
