There are several possible reasons for your symptoms. You may be having regression in your prescription (some of you near sighedness returning). You could be developing an inflammatory phenomenon called “Sands of the Sahara.” You could be developing epithelial engrowth under the corneal flap. The eyes could simply be getting dry and you are in need of aggressive lubrication.
This is why you should never ever get any surgery of any kind on any part of your body in a place where you do not having ready access the follow up care should complications occur. You need to go in to an eye doctor that is experienced in LASIK and be ready to pay him the money you thought you were saving by going to India so he can make sure you are not having serious complications and if your symptoms are serious then he can deal with them.

Question by powershaker: Why is it that I hear all these horror stories about LASIK?
I had LASIK a month ago, and I haven’t had that bad of an experience. Nothing like double vision, immense dryness or halos. I had -5.25 diopters and a slight astigmatism in one eye. Everything was very blurry without glasses, and I couldn’t even function at all without glasses. Now, I have 20/15 vision, and I just wonder why everything is great for me, but everyone else talks about how you’ll go blind, how you’ll ruin your life… just horrible stuff. I wonder if it’s not because some people shouldn’t have the surgery. Regardless, so far a wonderful experience for me. I had a wonderful doctor. Even checked his Medical Boards. Not one complain in his entire career.

My aunt had the sugery years ago when it was first introduced and she has perfect vision to this day. I am sure it has been pretty much perfected by now and personally have heard no complaint. Maybe they wanted to scare you.
