Proceedures vary depending on what needs to be done for YOU specifically and the qualifications of the surgeon. Just remember you DO get what you pay for….I know some cheap places…but I also know the best surgoen in the area here that fixes the issues caused by the cheap places…I am in CA, but I tell you it is about the same story everywhere. Your best bet is to call your eye doctor and see what they recommend for you specifically. GOOD LUCK!

I’ve had Lasik surgery five months ago and I’ve felt discomfort ever since the operation in my left eye. It feels as if my eye was being torn, especially when I need to focus my eyesight on televisoin or while reading. My excretions are high and when I go out, sunlight can be quite bothering, at least more than indoors. I haven’t seen the doctor since but only his optometrists/assistants who keep on reassuring me that discomfort will pass. They tell me I only have “dry eye” symptoms and that I have 20/20 vision anyway. That might be true but 5 months later is quite abnormal it seems, plus my vision might be 20/20 but I can only guess the letters I see with my left eye since my vision is partly blurred on that eye, kind of milky, as if I had constant liquid in my eye.
I have to add that I have seen 5 (!!) other doctors, none of which can tell me what went wrong!! – yet.
Help me please if you can.

good luck. if you’ve seen 5 doctors, unlikely that you’re going to find any new and enlightening information here, sorry.
but…lasik has its problems. its not perfect. patients act like its the greatest thing since sliced bread, but nobody talks about the problems. i see them all the time.

What kind of laser surgery are you referring about? Laser hair removal. I have personally never had it but my friend had it done on her underarms. It’s nt bad for your skin because they know what they are doing but she told me that you freka out because they are basically zapping the hair and scorching it. The hair removal is not permanent though. She was hair free for a few months but the hair eventually grew back.
